Tourist called this place white crater in the Indonesian language means "kawah putih". The color of the crater is apple green because it contains sulfur. White crater is a description of a relatively stable volcanic system without any record of magmatic or phreatic activity since 1600 BC. White crater located in the mountainous region that is located 30 kilometers south of Bandung in Ciwidey. This crater is a very beautiful place which is surrounded by tea plantations and along the road to this lake, we can feel the cool mountain air. In this area, we can get strawberries easily.
To reach this area can use public transportation, but for the convenience in travel is advised to use private cars. If the transport used is the private car, the car can be parked near the crater. However, if we use bus transportation, it must be stopped in a parking lot near the main entrance and then we can use the mini bus to tha crater. From the parking lot toward the crater impassable by foot.
Apart from white crater, in this mountainous region there are also several other attractions that are not less interesting, among others, hot water baths, a tourist attraction for those who have a hobby sport climbing, jungle tours and water tours.
